Still out and about on the road supporting their sophomore LP Here, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros have added a number of new tour dates to their existing set of live shows.

Yesterday Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros debuted touching music video for “Child,” the latest single off their most recent record Here. 

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros announced today that will be performance a special benefit concert at Libbey Bowl in Ojai, CA on Sept. 6 to benefit The Ojai Valley Community Nursey School. 

Releasing Here this week, the mellow sophomore follow-up to their 2009 debut Up From Below, hippie campfire songsingers Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have unveiled a documentary style music video for their lead single “Man on Fire.” (via Watch: Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - “Man on Fire” Video | Under The Radar)

It’s been three years since Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros carved out an interesting creative niche with their 2009 debut album, Up From Below. In the ’60s, three years could mean everything to a folk-oriented act, though the lofty pursuits of artists like Bob Dylan and Phil Ochs are leagues away from those of The Magnetic Zeros.
