Klara Söderberg of First Aid Kit would like people to know that she and her sister Johanna were an active duo performing shows in Sweden before folks in the U.S. discovered them through their cover of Fleet Foxes’ “Tiger Mountain Peasant Song” on YouTube. “I don’t want them to think we were not making music and then did the Fleet Foxes cover and were like, ‘Oh, we can make music,’” Klara explains. “We’ve always been doing our own songs, and that has been the main thing.” (via First Aid Kit Interview | Under The Radar)

Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit have premiered a fever-dream music video for their new single, “Wolf,” delivered in the wake of their much-praised sophomore album The Lion’s Roar. 

Øya, day four. The best way to avoid jet lag is to never sleep—but by this point I was experiencing a new sensation: festival lag. Touring behind sophomore album The Lion’s Roar, Swedish sister act First Aid Kit made time to stop by BBC 6. There, they participated in the radio station’s tribute to Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary, giving their spin on Stones’ b-side, “Play With Fire.” (via media | Under The Radar)
